Paragon - Book I by azimodo
51 parts Complete
*COMPLETE* There are whispers across the kingdoms that the Paragon, that strangely gifted person who can wield all four Skills, has been found. They're wrong, of course. No one has caught the Paragon. Allayria should know: she's it. But Allayria doesn't want to be the Paragon, and in her pursuit of freedom she finds herself enmeshed in a web of lies, caught in a group who might be even more dangerous than she could have imagined. Still, she's not the only one who has problems: bigger tides of change and danger are shifting across the world she has been assigned to protect. The Jarles, a kingdom in the east, has begun moving across its borders, and there are strange murmurings about what they have done, and where all the children they abducted have gone. Faced with responsibilities she never wanted, and a life she thought she could never have, Allayria must decide how she will help--and if she will be the Paragon at all. _____________________ WIP Cover art and written work by Azi. Highest ranking: #66 in Fantasy 2/3/2018 Hi everyone! Thanks a ton for taking the time to read Paragon. I'm so excited to share it with you, and to hear your feedback, theories, and insight. It's just me, myself, and I on this one (no beta) so if you catch any errors or inconsistencies, give me a shout--it will be much appreciated. The plan is to release a new chapter each weekend until we reach the end. - Azi Note: violence, sexual themes, and some coarse language will appear in Paragon.

Book One is finally complete, please look forward to Book Two, The Chronicles of Arnora: The Zemorian Invasion! Thousands of years ago there was a great war between the powers of light and darkness. The army of good had defeated the powers of evil, however darkness doesn't truly die.... Now thousands of years later that evil has returned to finish what it started all those years ago. The hope of saving the world now rests on the shoulders of one young man. Can he stop this evil before it rises again? Or will the darkness snuff out the light and reign supreme? Find out in the first exciting installment of The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon! My story takes place on a alternate Earth, in the fictional realm of Arnora. A place abundant with magic and full of different races such as Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Witches and Wizards. I've taking inspiration from some of my favorite well known sources to bring this story to life. Some of them include The Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Eragon and even Harry Potter. If you enjoy epic fantasy stories then I think you'll enjoy my story The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon. This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

Varfaún is on the brink of war. The once-great kingdom now rots under the rule of King Arrand Galborn, a tyrant whose hunger for power has twisted the land and its people. His armies march under a banner of blood, and in the blackened depths beneath his fortress, something far more sinister stirs. Delwyn Aldsund was once Galborn's sworn bodyguard-until she betrayed him. Sentenced to death, she awaited the executioner's blade, only to be rescued at the last moment by a mysterious cloaked elf, Vaelor. Now hunted by the king's Black Hounds, she flees across the fractured realm, burdened by questions without answers. Why did Vaelor save her? And what horrifying truth lies at the heart of Galborn's growing power? With the rebellion rising and dark forces creeping into the world, Delwyn and her unlikely allies must make a desperate journey to Ember Peaks, the last bastion of hope. But what awaits them is beyond anything she imagined-a hidden stronghold, a council of leaders who know more about her past than she does... and a weapon of legend slumbering beneath the mountain. The war for Varfaún has only begun.
