"Stop talking to my mother!" Nicholas seemed to be annoyed out of his mind.
"Now why in the hell would I do that?" How could that even be possible? 
"She keeps telling me how I should date a nice girl like you! You're manipulating her to get me!" 
"Puh-lease, I could get anyone without any help or games. Besides, if I wanted you I would tell you." It wouldn't be a first time for me.
"No, you couldn't." He seemed so sure.
"Is that a challenge?" I was really just joking, but he took it seriously.
