A Delicate Thing

Sometimes the connections we form are one-way connections, where you are the only one affected by the relationship. Sometimes the connections we form happen over months; sometimes the connections seem to happen in a mere moment.

We have all loved that person from afar. We have all wondered if they would ever take the time to learn our name. We have all worried about making a fool of ourselves in front of them. We have all felt the sting of unrequited love.

But love is not something that comes one day and stays forever. Love is a delicate thing, built up of a thousand little moments. Love is something that takes time to create and sometimes only an instant to destroy.

Love is sometimes only ever told to a person through a letter. And sometimes those letters are never sent.
