"Did we win?" Lance laughs a little.

"Of course we did, mullet." Keith smiles, wiping the tears from Lance's eyes, keeping his hands on his cheeks.

"Lance I-" His eyelids start to flutter.

"Keith hey hey it's okay. Just stay awake for me. Please." Keith pulls Lance's face towards his, looking up into his eyes. Lance's whole body is shaking and his heart is racing. Keith's grip starts to slacken.All Rights Reserved

Your average klance story. I got bored so here you go! Turning on the shower, Keith tries to relax, letting the water soak his hair - and he runs his fingers through them, straightening the knots out, but his fingers trip on one of Lance's clips and his hair tie. Holding them, Keith just stares - and suddenly he can't tell the difference between the warm water hitting his face and the tears sliding down his cheeks.

The honesty dripping from his drunk-stained words left Keith breathless. He never thought he'd live to hear those words coming from Lance, he was certain he would never love him back, he thought he liked Kinkade, as much as it pissed him off the idea. But Lance was sitting next to him, in a desolated hallway in the middle of the night, as if they were just idle teenagers, his big ocean eyes looking at him with fear and so much pain, and he felt like the world had just stopped for them.
