Braxton emerged from the shadows, across the room from where Nicolas and Jan stood. Jan sunk into the floor. "Don't open the door, Nicola," Braxton said.
Nicolas looked over his shoulder at the vampire, "Why not?"
Braxton shrugged, "The same reason why Buster is the way he is."
"I thought that was because he was controlled by that Shadowkin. Jeryyko?"
"Jakkal," Brax nodded, walking up to Nicolas, "He's in there. Sort of."
"Sort of?" Nicolas looked at Brax quizzically, "What do you mean?"
"Most of Jakkal's essance is inside that room. The rest he needs to manifest is out here. Open the door, you have an evil Shadowkin to kill."
"I've killed numerous." He unsheathed his dagger. "I can do this."
Brax shook his head, "It's not time."
Nicolas sighed. "Then when is time?"
"When you're ready."
Nicolas nodded to himself, chuckling, "And when will that be?"
Braxton shrugged, "Only time will tell, Nicola. Only time will tell."

'What did i just get myself into?' I think to myself and sip my hot coco. I look out over the land and see a figure in the distance and i try to get a good look at it but it's too far to see. I blink and it's gone. I look around to see if i can see it again and it's right below the balcony. 'WHAT THE F**K IS THAT?!!!' I think in my head and trip going backwards into the house and hit the floor hard with a thud. The area around me slowly develops into darkness and i black out unconscious. Every time I tried to stop, something clenched in my stomach, instinctual and feral. It compelled me to move. Sometimes it felt like it was pulling me in the opposite direction, back the way I came. That feeling I ignored - nothing short of demonic possession could convince me to go anywhere near that forest ever again. It wouldn't be nearly long enough that I would realize I hadn't imagined that pull. That some invisible force was compelling me towards that man. To Nate. When I did realize, I made sure I used it to keep running in the opposite direction of wherever it told me to go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Picture this: you're a 17 year old werewolf. Your Alpha, under false counsel, believes your entire family instigated a failed coup so he kills your parents, and you're next. Your options are basically die now, or turn rogue and die anyways. Elize repeated to herself as she pushed the door open. Two heads whipped towards her direction from the corridor to which the door opened. The conversation between them seemed to have died down with her presence. One of the two tall men stepped towards her. An animalistic growl emanated from his body. Elize narrowed her eyes and was about to say something when she noticed it. Those eyes. Those same blue eyes! ********* "Who's there?!" She asked aloud, unable to find anyone. 'You have the come at last.' The voice replied, a hint of joy in its tone. She gulped her saliva nervously. "Who- who's there?!" Elize stuttered. 'I am what is missing from you.' The voice replied, calmly. "Huh?" 'Since our time has not yet come to become one, why may I ask are you here?' The voice asked. "I uh.." She said absentmindedly. 'Let us seal our bond with a wish, that I may accept you as my master.' The voice spoke with much enthusiasm. ****** "Do you hate me Elize?" He asked, with a pout. Elize maintained her poker face. She was not going to fall for it no matter how cute he tried to act, she thought to herself. "No I don't sir. I don't even know you." She replied nonchalantly. "Ouch. That hurt." He said, clutching the place above his heart. Elize huffed, rolling her eyes. "Do you really have something to say or should I come back later?" She asked, folding her hands above her chest. "Would you come back to me later, on your own accord?" He teased, almost reaching her. "That's not what I-" The Kelpie's laughter cut her off. "You're so cute when you do that.
