"Jakkal," Brax nodded, walking up to Nicolas, "He's in there. Sort of."

"Sort of?" Nicolas looked at Brax quizzically, "What do you mean?"

"Most of Jakkal's essance is inside that room. The rest he needs to manifest is out here. Open the door, you have an evil Shadowkin to kill."

"I've killed numerous." He unsheathed his dagger. "I can do this."

Brax shook his head, "It's not time."

Nicolas sighed. "Then when is time?"

"When you're ready."
