It turns out that Derek Hale has a child of his own, as one day a young boy shows up at his door.
How is he going to take care of a child? Who will help him in need?
Where is the mother? Better question, who is the mother and how did she manage to keep a secret like this? Why did she even wanted to keep it as a secret?
All those questions popped up in Dereks head too. All he needs now are answers, but getting those isn't quite that easy.
And on top of that there is something going around Beacon Hills, slowly consuming the City and its citizens piece by piece.

Remaining both physically & mentally intact within the confines of Beacon Hills wasn't always a struggle for Rachel Hale. There was a time when the town had been her home, a place she'd never so much as consider leaving for more than a short vacation.
