Elsie (aged 15) moves to her new boarding school in the middle of nowhere, but this is no ordinary school. It is split into two half's, one side is where the students and teachers work, sleep and go to school, but the other side is an exact copy of the first. But this side has been deserted for years, and is surrounded by mystery. No one, not even the teachers, know why it is there. And perhaps even stranger, is the fact that even though nobody has crossed the imaginary line to the other side, the schools twin has not fallen into despair, if anything its in a far better condition than that of the normal building. So far no one has questioned this, but Elsie's curiosity gets the better of her, and can't help wondering what could be hidden on the other side....
