Rose lives in a world of hate, deception, and music. The Kingdom of Song is powered by song and is home to the richest and most talented. The city right outside the kingdom, however, is home to the banished. No electricity, no one cleaning the streets and houses, and no singing power. Everyone has a mask that they wear to symbolize their punishment and prevents them from song casting, and can't remove it. 
     Rose has never belonged in the city. Her mask could come off if she sang it a lullaby. She was never affected by the toxic air. She is also alone. Her mom died, and her brothers disappeared. One day, Rose gets word that the queen was ruling with violence and cruelty. Her subjects mysteriously didn't see it. Her closest people to family begins getting hurt. Desperate to protect her family, she joins a rebellion and is told that she has more talent that she knows. Will the rebellion be enough to overthrow the queen, and stop her evil ways? Join Rose on her adventure filled with love, pain, and sacrifice.
