The year is 2050, and the world is ending.

Or, at least, the world that humans have come to know over the past 2.5 millennia. The world itself will prosper, along with mechanical inventions. The creators, however- will die.

Gerard Way is an incredibly perspicacious artificial intelligence, given the task of wiping out whatever remaining humans that had survived this long into the apocalypse. There weren't many, just a few particularly relentless cockroaches among billions, but they were obsolete. 

Most had run, sobbed, pleaded for their lives. A few plucky ones had even tried to resist, but Gerard had thought he'd seen it all. That's when he met Frank Iero: a struggling college student who's been eagerly awaiting the apocalypse for years now and is all too passive in the face of his own destruction.

Gerard starts to have second thoughts.

He could spare just one life...couldn't he?

Those who are chosen are sent to war or they sweep the streets for the unwanted. every year, 5 people are chosen and this year, Gerard happened to be one of them. Frank Iero happens to be part of the unwanted. for all anybody knows, he's dead, but he isn't. he's hiding in the sewers, keeping himself alive. the unwanted are sent to a camp where they'll be executed. there are always those who escape but most are killed on sight. Frank on the other hand is sneaky and he got out. now he hides out with the rest of the escapees. what's gonna happen when Gerard meets Frank? Completed!!

Frank wonders why he's still alive. 12:37 pm. Mikey wonders why his friend, Frank, is acting so weird. 2:19 pm. Gerard leaves the house and goes to the beach, where he found the boy. 3:49 pm. Frank realises someone found him. 5:26 pm. Mikey wants to know what the fuck is going on with the two important people in his life. Gerard Way is a serial killer who is trapped in a single white room in a mental institute. He cannot stand another day there, especially with the cruelness of the caretakers. Over years of abuse, he has gained a paranoid mindset, believing everyone and everything is against him. Frank Iero is an ambitious medical student who is doing a work trial at the same mental institute. He believes that everyone deserves a second chance because everyone is capable of changing. He is smart, and caring and isn't afraid to stand up for himself, which is a strong contrast to the other caretakers and doctors at the institute. Frank's boss, Dr. Parker, assigns Frank to provide help for Gerard. They are both opposites in many ways, but will that stop Frank from gaining Gerard's trust and seeing his true self?
