A young chipper girl and her "rebel" older sister, travel back in time with the time machine their scientist father built.

Mckenna has always been obsessed with Michael Jackson, and has loved him with all of her heart. Her father had been working on the time machine since she could remember and she knew since she was little, that when it was ready, she was going to look as 70s as she could and travel back in time using her Jackson 5 tickets that she had from a collecters book (September, 1973)

Her sister will not let her go alone. Together, they travel back promising to be safe, to not change the past, and to not let anyone know they're from the future.. which fails.

They become close to the boys, and start to travel back and forth, in that adventure, they find friendship, love, confusion, and a tough decision in the end. Will they stay in the past? Or go home in their own time with their family and friends?
