This is the sequal to the Slave That Is Eve.  It's been a year since Skylar excaped the founder, and returned back to the Mukami mantion.  This time, the Mukami's bonded a lot more with her, and became more protective.  Ruki took the role of being the father figure in Skylar's life, and making sure the Sakamaki's stay away from his Eve.  Ruki still doesn't dare put Skylar in school, seeing how the van to the shelter started to patrol town for wolves.

Everyithing is fine until one day when Ruki and Skylar get into a massive argument.  Skylar feels like she isn't a part of the Mukami family, and desides to leave. She uses her instints to find her way back into town, when a strange van comes around. What will happen when Skylar ends up back at the shelter, to find that the Sakamai's control the whole thing.
