The words tumbled from Solas' lips, and he turned away slowly from Rook and Morrigan, away from where Ellana Lavellan stood hidden in the shadows of the doorway, watching and waiting. I've decided to finally start posting some of my writings, so this is where I will place the stuff that is too short to warrant it's own book. It will be filled with completely random stuff, so you never know what you will find here. Some will be old stories I wrote years ago and some will be newly written, some super short and some rather long. It all depends on how inspired I was while writing it. What Comes After (Dragon Age: The Veilguard Solas x Lavellan)
The world has done Solas a disservice, demanding so much from one man who has given up everything of himself to save a world that still demands and takes, and takes and takes and takes until he is left with nothing in the end but a shell of himself and a life full of regrets. "Why?" And yet, he still questions what Ellana Lavellan so freely gives. A (slightly) slower burn version of the Solavellan reunion at the end of Veilguard. A/N: My headcanon is that Lavellan knows (somewhat, the gist of it anyway) about his memories and the things he's done. It feels too much like a bait-and-switch to me if he only reveals it all after she's joined him in the Fade prison, and that she's been misled and lied to. That doesn't sit quite right with me for a happy Solavellan ending especially since she's basically pledged her entire life to him (of course, if it's a dysfunctional Solavellan ending then that works well!)Complete
