[Hunger Games Fan Fiction] In the far future, the country of Panem has risen out of the ashes and remains of North America. Every year, the Capitol forces each of the 12 districts to provide one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to be sent to the Capitol, trained and pampered, and then thrown into an arena to fight until one is left standing. It is known as the Hunger Games- the sick reality TV show for the entertainment of the Capitol citizens. 

Callista is a 14-year-old living in District 9. When her name is drawn as the tribute for 9, she is shocked, but sent to the Capitol with one reminder of home- an amber, moon-shaped hair comb. Once she is in the arena, Callista is shocked and horrified by the sudden reality of what she has witnessed only on TV. What is going to happen to her?All Rights Reserved
