People say she had a bad temper, was cheeky and had her own way of dealing with people. But the girl could care less about what other people think as long as she fits in. Nevertheless, she quickly makes friends in Avonlea and also runs into Gilbert Blythe, who, however much she denies it, reaches her heart more than she thought. ❁ !! WARNING !! Mature themes mentioned!

"I hate you so much, Blythe." said Anne as she looked at him with fury in her eyes. "The feelings mutual, Shirley-Cuthbert." answered Gilbert with a smirk as he walked away.

Gilbert Blythe was back in Avonlea and with him was bringing all the adventures he had experienced in the last few months. Now he wanted toget back on with his life, take over the farm, make up for lost time at school, and meet Anne again. He did not know what was waiting for him, but he was willing to find out.

Gilbert Blythe has a serious problem when it comes to Anne Shirley-Cuthbert - he stares at her too much! "Do you believe in soulmates?" he asks, half-joking, half-wanting to know the answer. "Well, no" she says "I mean, not in the 'I know you from another past life' way... but I do believe in the rare happening of two people that meet by pure and random chance and they just... something just clicks, you know?"
