Detective Phoebe Martin is a single mother who works alongside Hank Anderson at the DPD. She's been there to pick him up whenever he's drunk or keeps him company when she knows he shouldn't be alone. And having her son around brings a temporary smile to the otherwise grumpy Lieutenant's face. So when deviancy begins to rise Hank worries for Phoebe's safety and the arrival of a certain Android sent by Cyberlife isn't improving his attitude.

Hank feels only contempt for the plastic pricks since he blames them for the death of his son Cole all those years ago where Phoebe's attitude towards them is much more positive. But with the threat of a Civil War looming she's on a race against time to save her son before it's too late. Will Connor help her? Or will he focus on accomplishing his mission?
