A collection of short stories I made related to different forms of love.

The Perfect Shot: A wildlife photographer and a sniper meet in a bar, they leave with two entirely different conversations.
Earth, Sea and Sky: A man loves the forest, a woman loves the sea, what happens when they meet?
You're My Home: Cursed to never stay home for more than three months, I reassure my love that I'll be back.
Love and Honour: A cursed man is discovered by a thief. He finds himself hoping for the first time in years.
The Sky is Crying: It rains whenever something in my life changes.
Chasing Stars: I never noticed her until I got paired up with her. I never saw her the same way again.
Background Vibes: I was always in the background, even if I had friends.
Hurt Me, Hurt Me Not: General Orion Layla Millen didn't believe in what the bards used to sing about. However, she meets her soul mate and all of that changes.
White Noise: Soulmates do not have one of the senses until they meet each other. Apparently, seeing them on tv counts as meeting them, things do not go as plan but there's still a happy ending.
Legend Says: Lancelot is under Morgana's control. Arthur finds a way to fix this.
Yin and Yang: Twins Kohaku and Hisoka are born before and after midnight. They are destined for great things and the clan anticipates this.
A Thousand and One Years: You are gone and I am cursed to wait. I watched as the world moves on and everyday i hope that one day, you will return.
Sunbeams and Moonlight: I don't remember much but what i do know is that my name is Hou Yi and I love Chang'e.
Ascension: I am the last of the sect and the enemy is not truly my enemy.

••• Oh yeah, I think I forgot to mention, some of us humans are "gifted" as we like to say, in short, we have powers, well most of us do, anyway, powers that only show themselves when we turn 18. That's why an eighteenth birthday is such a big deal. Please note, that our powers come in all shapes and sizes. Pinwheels and Dandelions
I was kicked around like trash on the streets. I was the book that nobody could understand or read, but without a care, they were quick to rip out the pages. I screamed for attention, but time after time, I was ignored. Nobody noticed me, so I made myself at home in my own shadow. They say there's light at the end of the tunnel -- I searched and searched for it, but it could never be found. Therefore, I lost hope as I hid in the shade and endured what seemed like everlasting pain. The little hope I did have was snatched from my arms. My baby brother was my life, and they took my glimpse of hope away. Home. Is that a word? Maybe for a family of some kind, but for me, I never had a place to call home. I moved from place to place. Unstable foster care, fighting for my life in group homes, barely surviving in detention centers, and running away from being mistreated as I made many benches my temporary home. The only thing that I was familiar with was a black plastic bag containing my dirty rags. I am too young to know what it feels like to survive. These are the cards life has dealt me and I am not meant to win; however, I easily lose without trying. It is hard for me to find peace. I am paying for my mother's reckless actions. I am trapped in a world where the sun has died because I am unable to feel love. I am unable to dream. Sorrow is my aura, and the sadness hugs me. My eyes are closed shut by the barbed wire fence from my eyelashes as they prohibit tears from falling. I am damaged. When will the morning come? Did the sun put up a fight last night, like I do every single day? If I can survive the day, I know the sun isn't dead. One day, I will awake to a glorious sunrise. Until then, I hope my brother keeps blowing his pinwheel, and I will keep making wishes with every dandelion I come across. Pack destroyed. Father dead, mother dead, sister dead. Little Brayden is left alone. If it weren't for the teenage Alpha that finds him and takes him in. Story excerpt As I run past the man I feel his arms take hold of me pinning me to him as he picks me up. "Let go of me! My father will kill you!" I scream. I kick at him but he holds me tightly. "He's the Alpha!" The man kneels down and I feel my feet touch earth. He continues to hold me tight. Eventually he loosens his grip not enough to free me just enough that he can look me in the eye. "Your father is gone." The man tells me. "No!" I yell at him. I swing as hard as I can punching the man in the chest. "I don't believe you!" I didn't see Daddy but he is a strong wolf! An Alpha! No way he is dead! I feel the tears run down my face as I look around. Fire, rubble, and death... everyone is gone. I fall into the man sobbing. I can't fight any more. My pack is dead. The man picks me up again carrying me to his car. "What's your name little guy?" He asks. I have a hard time making words through my tears. "B... Bray... Brayden." I stammer gripping his shirt. "Hello Brayden... I'm Alpha Aaron... I'm gonna take care of you." He says. This is backstory for Brayden from my book Alpha Lilly. This story runs from before Alpha Lilly until part way through Orphan Wolf so spoilers are certain for those books. I'd suggest reading them first but you don't have to. BOOK 1 OF THE BIG BAD WOLF SERIES: "R-Roman, stop," He lingers on each kiss, teasing me with his tongue. Sparks erupt. "You make me so damn angry," He says huskily, fanning his warm breath on my neck, making another shiver course through me. He places a kiss right below my ear, and I visibly shudder. He notices. He starts attacking the spot with his lips, and I bite my lip hard trying hard to not let the moan escape me. I involuntarily close my eyes. Everywhere he touches me sparks erupt. He starts sucking on the spot. "R-Roman, pl-please, st-top," I push lightly on his chest, but he doesn't even flinch. I didn't want this to happen, not when he was just being a total asshole 2 seconds ago. "Roman," I practically moan out his name. He starts gently biting me, and I melt into him. I put my hands on his shoulders and push him again, slightly harder this time, but as he keeps attacking my neck, I feel as though all the energy has been drained from me. "You're mine," he says huskily in between kisses. I self consciously nod. "Only mine-" He starts kissing and sucking my jaw, and I refrain from letting out a moan. "And you'll never talk to Dimitri or any of the warriors again." I open my eyes wide at his comment, and I push him back with all my strength. *** They said the Big Wolf was bad...
