The Edda of Yggdrasil

Loki Laufeyson is the subject of a prophecy: he will cause the Ragnarök, the end of the nine worlds. The prophecy has been kept a secret by Odin and Heimdall, but Loki has always been too close to evil for them to feel safe. There comes a time when Loki's loyalty to Asgard is going to be tested, when the three Norns who deliver the thread of fate and guard Yggdrasil the great tree of life, are kidnapped and the nine worlds hang in the balance.
