Blood is our life, death is our friend. Kill or be killed. These are some of the codes we live by. In a post-apocalyptic world, we humans must do whatever it requires to get by. We regret our mistakes for idling, straying away from science and technology. Tattered was our world, we could do nothing but watch as mother nature unleash the final blow of her wrath in the form of a meteor storm. Civilization clumped together in groups; a city built with legs, always moving. But we remain ragged, chaotic and without a leader, soon we will fall and become fresh meat for the taking of monsters and hideous breeds of plants that now inhabits the plains and wastelands of the present remaining massive scrap of land that is called Earth. Two children with no blood relations survived the hardship of life in the slumps. No parents, just each other to depend on. 'He' found the pair of children one day after a bloody tangle with the local homicidal freaks. 'He' took them in and raised them, all the while climbing up the hierarchy, hacking up massacres to instill fear.
They were so deadly, those children of his. so obedient, well-controlled, fast, flexible and lethal, arguably one of the most efficient assassins for hire, they were in 'his' service first and foremost, but also take assignments albeit only if they're handsomely paid. Laid out in the front line like pawns, the game plans have been laid out. All that was left to do now was to play in the game of murder and carnage. Forever branded as bloodguilty murderers.
There's no turning back now.
Riverfield, a beautiful town by the ocean, is home to the prestigious Decelis Academy.
It's also home to seven boys with a secret: they may simply seem like players of the famous sport, Nightball, but they're actually vampires.
To escape from their dark past, they try to lead normal lives as students - other than the occasional hitch since their rival Nightball team happens to be made up of werewolves. But in the end, these seven friends always find strength in each other.
Until one day, a new transfer student with curious strength causes the boys' forgotten past to slowly unravel.
