"Where are you going?" She struggles to pull me back. "I'm going home." I shriek. I start dragging her behind me but as I almost near the door a bigger pair of hands replace hers and swing me around. I collide with a strong chest, my hands lying flat on the muscular torso. "Let go of me you psychopath! I'm not going to be part of your little cult!" I scream. "Take me home! I want to go home!" Tears stream down my face. My breathing quickens and my heart speeds up. "Cult? Chloe, you didn't tell her anything? You're okay, Sweetheart?" A male voice says in my ear. "Calm down." I look up and see the man. He's tall and has ocean blue eyes, his hair is shorter on the sides and longer at the top and is brushed to the left, a few strands of hair hang over his forehead. He wears a black tee-shirt that fits his chest tightly, ripped jeans, and high-top converse. A hundred butterflies decide to take flight in my stomach and my face fills with burning fire. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Jasmine is dragged into a world of untold creatures and magic, she unlocks something within her that has the power to either save everything or destroy it.

Hunter

He reached for my hand, and I stood before he could touch me. I pulled my backpack on my shoulder and made to leave, but he grasped me and pulled me back. "Stop running from me." His hands were on my face, his thumbs running over my cheeks. I looked up into his grey eyes, those grey eyes that I loved so much. His breathing was steady as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. He was so close that I could smell his deodorant. His hands trailed down my neck, over my shoulders and found their way to my own. Our fingers intertwined as he pulled me closer to him. We were barely an inch apart, and my heart was thudding wildly in my chest I feared that he would hear it. "Stop running, Hayley." His hands made their way back to my face, and they were soon buried in my hair. I shut my eyes and reveled in the feeling, leaning ever so slightly into his arms. "I can't," I whispered. I couldn't. - - - - - Hayley Hunter, a young and powerful Hybrid, has finally learned about her true nature.
