"Janus?" Percy questioned, widening his eyes to try and see through the darkness as he took slow and tentative steps towards the sound of heavy breathing. Whimpers sounded not too far away as Percy stopped, listening intently.

"It hurts, it hurts so much," The voice whispered, pain clearly evident as Percy approached the voice. "Please, make it stop!"

"Janus, it's me Percy," he tried, the breathing got louder as Percy neared. Sweat trickled down Percy's forehead as the heat in the room began to increase dramatically, they needed to get out as soon as possible. Artemis and the hunters could be in danger, the Camp could have been destroyed by now and the Gods desperately needed their help. "Let's go."

The war with Gaea and the Giants was over, and Percy was excited to have the chance to spend time with his beautiful girlfriend. Then everything comes crashing down. It didn't help that the new kid was claimed by Poseidon, making him Percy's half-brother. Rumours and lies started to circle Camp-Half-Blood. At some point I'm going to rewrite this because it's absolutely shitty lol but I'll leave this version up BC... Nostalgia? Idk. Anyway, this book will get a new chapter announcing when the rewritten version is up. Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Jaleo (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot.
