UNDENIABLE LOVE
I held her hand. I kissed her back. And for that one fleeting moment I felt something I haven't allowed myself to feel in years. But I shouldn't have. That kiss... that closeness... it was selfish of me. Because now, even if she doesn't know what it meant, I do. And I know how dangerous it is for both of us. So maybe if I pull away now, if I go cold, if I stop being the version of myself she's grown close to... maybe she'll move on. Maybe she'll think it was nothing. That it was all in her head. Senior high school was probably one of the best moments in life, at least for certain folks. We learn the meaning of life from those periods. It only happens 3 years for the majority of people. But the moments still linger on our mind. Example? Here it goes... "They say teenage romance is awkward-but nobody said it would come with strawberry perfume, secret siblings, and a weeb girl who could read minds..." "'Are you seriously making out with your twin?!' I screamed. Dani stood frozen. Daisy ran. And somehow... this all started with candied flowers." "An absolute affection coming from absurd person? Shining Glasses included... such an irony". And many more absurdity follows... Putra, a normal student that has been dragged everywhere... This story is based on an Indonesian High School, where a male teen discovers a new perspective on affection. *Notes - Sorry for my basic, amateurish English and story telling. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush.
