Sophia Mir was both nervous and excited to be given the chance to intern for CNN- to spend three weeks in Gulrukh hospital in Gaza, Palestine. But with the chaos spreading in the heart of Palestine, she feared she'd fail in capturing that which she was meant to do. She feared that the emptiness would scare her away before she started.
So with her caged personality, Sophia believed the only good thing that would come from taking this offer was the richness, both in terms of experience and salary.
