Four 15-year-olds are ripped from their families and taken to a dark- and unbearably hot- room. Every single one of these teens is terrified, and their situation continues to get worse and worse. Getting stabbed with syringes, waking up once again in the center of Henderson, Nevada with crazy abilities, meeting some weirdo who won't tell them what her power is, and rarely getting along, just to name a few. The only thing they agree on is the fact that they'd like to see their families and friends before they die. And as possible as that seemed in the first few hours of being confined in their prison, the idea is slipping further and further away. Scared, hungry, and burning up in the desert sun, will these kids be able to make it through a madman's experiment and see their loved ones again? Or will they deal with loss after crushing loss, destined to die at the age of fifteen?
*^* Updates will arrive as frequently as possible, but I wouldn't expect them much as midterm season has begun. No promises on times, unfortunately; they'll be pretty sporadic.

Once Again
"It's human nature. It's instinct to survive, no matter the cost." The world has fallen into desolation. The apocalypse has already started and finished, leaving some of the surviving ones with strange powers and mysterious scars. The world has ended, according to some, and is now in a state of rebirth. Others say it hasn't ended yet and that it's only going to get worse. The remaining people have grouped together in packs and gangs, raiding the desolate cities and avoiding the ones called the Destroyers, who capture and torture the remaining survivors. No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. "Maybe there's more to life than just surviving." ... Rated C for Caution. Though it's rated mature, there is no bad language or vivid descriptions of sexual contact. It does have very strong themes. The Freaks
After a disaster strikes the earth, teenagers are all that survive. But they develop strange and dangerous abilities that brand them as monsters. They're nicknamed the Freaks. Luca's a Freak like no other. When he turns eighteen, he's sentenced to death by a government sent from space, known as the Soldiers, to wipe the earth of the teens and start new, but the Freaks don't allow that. Luca is saved from execution by Freaks who bring him to safety, and there he finds not only food and shelter, but more like him surviving, when he thought they had all died. When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it.
