'"Rosetta Cane," the principle called out over the microphone.

The young girl stood and slowly walked up onto the stage. All eyes were on the pregnant seventeen-year-old as she walked across the stage at graduation in her blue cap and gown. 

"Congratulations Rosetta," the principle whispered as he shook the girls delicate hands.

She smiled and took the diploma from his outstretched hand before stepping off the other side of the stage. As she turned to sit down, a familiar face appeared in her vision. Her breath caught in her throat as she gazed up at the young man.
