19 year old Helena Bennett is relieved that her life is finally going back to normal. Well, as normal as it can get, considering her recent kidnapping and several near-death experiences.

But no matter, she's put it all behind her.

That is, until news of an exclusive masquerade ball sweeps the county, strictly vampires only, hosted by an anonymous source. Oddly enough, Lena finds herself with an invitation to the party. She doesn't think too much of it, until she tries to unmask the person behind it and her and Alex once again find themselves in a battle to survive and keep each other safe.
