I don't remember much about my life. All I can seem to remember are these city streets, and these streets are my only home. All my life I've been on my own under my little bench. Well I can't really say I've been alone. I have Song, my little bird. She's been with me since the beginning, we've been through everything together. But I'm struggling to keep her protected, keep her safe. These streets that I once called home are turning on me and I'm running out of options. I need to get out of here before my I lose my mind. I'm just afraid it's too late. Cover by DjBunny

I'm Raegan Evans. Thirty-two years old, small business owner, blogger, stay at home mom, and did I mention I'm single? That makes me something of a super hero, doesn't it? Or maybe its just that I live in a small town in Mississippi where there aren't so many fish in the sea. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a walking contradiction. I'm a habitual introvert who, with a few drinks, thrives in social settings. I'm goofy at the best times and a little too serious when the occasion calls for it. I can be soft and feminine but don't underestimate my tough side. I'll sing quietly to myself while baking cookies in the morning and curse colorfully over yard work in the afternoon. The best and sometimes worst part of knowing me is that I'll always keep you guessing. I'm a Libra after all. Not that I really follow that astrology stuff, but I'll admit that it can offer some valid points. When the empty house next door was sold for the umpteenth time, my new tattooed and dreamy neighbor and I made an instant connection. I had every intention of keeping it strictly friendly, but he was just as determined to be something more and show me that there are still good men in the world. He saw me for what I was and uncovered a lot of hurt that I would have gladly kept hidden and tore down every wall I had built to protect myself. But he has issues, too, and I don't know if I'm ready to brave the demons of my past; to show them to someone else and trust him to help me build anew the parts of me that I've shredded in my detrimental efforts to keep myself together. And I don't know if I have the strength to weather his storm while still trying to hold my ground in the one that still rages within me.

[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. My dad, who had always been my hero, suddenly became a stranger, filled with rage and blame. He couldn't see that I was hurting, too; he only saw me as a reminder of his loss. The accusations cut deep. He said it was my fault for being there, for not doing something to save her. For being the reason she was in the car in the first place. In the years that followed, things only got worse. The abuse started gradually-a harsh word here, a shove there-but it escalated, leaving scars that I carried long after the physical pain faded. I was drowning in my own despair, struggling to keep my head above water while my father's anger raged like a storm around me. I only had a break from his anger when I started living with Aunt Dina-my mom's older sister. Well, that was because she found me nearly dead on my bed after I took a dozen pills. I was tired of living. I had hit rock bottom. The harsh whispers that followed me around and the stares at school. I pretended not to notice, like it didn't bother me. But it did. I was alone. Then came Athalia, a ray of sunshine cutting through my darkness. With her, I felt something I hadn't felt in years-happiness. She became my light through the darkness and my lifeline. ••••••••••• ● Warnings ⚠️ ~ Mention of suicide ~ Anxiety attacks ~ Rape attempt ~ Mention of self-harm ~ Depression

Poems are a great help to depression. My cover is not be very appealing and my title seems boring. Poems are also not liked by people very much and is considered boring. I may not get many views. But in the end "Don't judge a book by it's cover" only wins. So I have bought you some sad poems, food related ones, poems related to the things I love, Love yourself, Romantic and many more. These are written by me and please don't post it anywhere without my permission. To explain you why I have added a pink heart with black background, it is because the poems tell a story of girl(me) to whom people think she is very cold, straight forward, rude and all those things but... in reality she is too soft for this harsh world. The pink heart represents the softness she is hiding inside using her black side so no one would misuse her. The angel in her still haven't faded after getting betrayed, lost, depressed, fake people, bully and many more. She doesn't wants to go through this again. The pink background in the upper half tell that she still have hopes in her life. I want the readers to know the deep meaning behind the Title themselves and I won't reveal it until the end of the book. Keep your guesses up and think what possibly could be the meaning of this unusual title. Thank you and enjoy the journey of this little girl warning: if you are expecting this to be a story then sorry it isn't a story but a collection of poems written by the "little girl" depending on her mood that time. It is more like a Journey. You could skip it if you want to. Or learn about the little girl I'm representing/my life. Credits- I don't own the pictures used here however some are mine most are from other websites and I give their credits to them.

I've always had a feeling that I would die young. Ever since I started pondering on deaths door I've had this feeling. I could care less about the hell and heaven shenanigans, but death. I want it. The end of my life. I want to be in my suit, in my coffin, in the ground and my soul to be gone. I've been waiting for 16 years, yet no sign of death opening his door no matter how many times I ring his doorbell. Yeah, I enjoy thinking about my end.
