Soulmate, meaning the one who is perfect for me. However, as I got older I started to realise that a Soulmate could not be real, how was it, that a non religious town could believe that a silly little necklace could lead me to my soulmate, the one I loved. Maybe it was just a way for them to make sure that there was no trouble, perhaps they wanted us to live a settled life, what if they were hiding someone, or something.
