Brace For It

Life has hit an all-time low for Vivian Lice, a late blooming, socially awkward sixteen-year-old girl living in the small town of South Lane. Bullied in school for her name and looks, living with a foster family who hate her guts, and hopelessly in love with a girl who doesn't even know she exists. Everything went wrong- even more than they already had -when the apocalypse hit, turning everyone and everything into bloodthirsty monsters. Vivian is the last known survivor. She knows she can't stay in her foster parents' house- which Vivian has armed to the teeth with a steel fence, squirty guns, and a moat -and she knows she needs to venture out of her safe haven to see if there's any more survivors with just a pack of stale Jolly Ranchers and a B.B gun. You know the worst part? Vivian has braces and no one to take them out.
