One strong gust and the flower petals became one with the wind. It's only May but snowflakes fell like drops of rain. She danced and twirled like a little girl. She then reached for his hand and the two started to sway. They laughed at their silly jive. They ran around chasing each other down. They kissed like it's their first and last. They exchanged vows of their undying love.
But then she made the mistake of looking into his eyes.
In those dark orbs was the glimpse of white, of flower petals and of them. A picture of their future forever frozen in the now.
