Ice was just a simple citizen from Metropolis. He had a simple job, simple house, good friends, basically, his life was simple. One day, during a battle between Sonic and Eggman, Ice was captured against his will and imprisoned in the Eggman Empire to come. During his imprisonment, he was tested on which ended up giving him powers such as the Chaos Control and some ice based abilities. After being saved by Sonic and company, he joins and fights alongside them. During their travels to stop Eggman once again, Ice befriends a weak Zavok who he helps. After some time, the Arctic fox helps the Zeti reveal his feelings for the blue blur while also thinking of a way to make Eggman pay for his time imprisoned.

The team entered a beautiful fancy village named Transtopia (owned and lead by (Sonics other old flame) Serena and Camilla) There Knuckles meets their beautiful protector. A blue hedgehog (that bored little resemblance to Queen Aleena) named Shayera Blue Star. Though she looked familiar to Knuckles. This protector was a real fighter. To Knuckles there was something about her that Knuckles couldn't help but see.Concluida

Eggman disowned Metal and called him useless before firing the cannon. But Metal chose to take the Chaos Emeralds when the portal became unstable and turned into a black hole. While grabbing the Ruby, Metal Sonic sacrificed himself to save the world, making everyone believe him to be gone... However, they did not know that he was sent to an alternate dimension, where he would begin his new life becoming a hero in the SMG4 universe, proving he will be a better hero than Sonic.
