"100,000 dollars going once, going twice..."
"10 million dollars." A dark raspy voice rang throughout the auction theater. A shiver went down my spine when the voice spoke. I dare not break the rules by looking up though my eyes so badly wanted to. I heard gasps, causing my body to go tense.
"Wait, your majesties! You must collect her in the back where..." The man abruptly went silent on the stage next to me when two sets of inhuman growls filled the air. His grip on my arm tightened in what seemed to be fear.
I whimpered a bit as the grip actually started to hurt. I heard loud footsteps approaching quickly and suddenly the pain and his hand disappeared from me all at once.
"Touch our mate again and we will rip you limb from limb!" A threatening voice boomed. I gulped a bit in fear, even though the threat was not directed towards me.
Another masculine voice spoke, slightly different from the first, but just as threatening. "You do not tell us when to take anything. We take what we want, when we want it. We want her, so we will take her now."
The chains that latched onto the cuffs on my wrists and on my ankles were forcefully pulled forward. I was easily knocked off my feet only to collide in a firm chest. I felt warm sensations travel anywhere he touched. I then felt another firm body press against my back. By now my cheeks were heated because I knew that all the beings in the room had their eyes on us. "Ours." They growled lowly and held me.
