This story is about a girl named Alison, Allie for short. Alison seems to be an ordinary school girl with ordinary problems: acne, grades, boys. She is a likeable and well loved girl among her friends: outgoing, cheerful, kind. On the outside, everything about her seems fine and normal, or so she hopes. Allie faces a multitude of problems, both at school and at home. This story is about how she faces the struggles of leading a normal life, despite being in a dysfunctional family. With courage, strength and hope, as she learns that with faith in herself, anything can be overcome.
