Theodore & The 7 Layers of Space, Book 1: Brick & Bird
Enter a strange and amazing new world you've never seen before, but you most likely already live inside. Follow Theodore, a lonely kid who has to Travel through the 7 Layers of Space in order to find a brick and probably save the universe. Unfortunately he has no idea what he's doing or how to do it. While on this adventure, among other things he: hangs out with some Old Timey Automatons, a Magician Detective, several sock puppets (while temporarily becoming one himself), has a deep conversation with a dragon who exists outside of time, has a wild ride on the back of a giant rescue dog, rides a bug rollercoaster with Amelia Earhart's long-lost daughter, and has a root beer with a monkey who is also a ghost. It's YA Fantasy that dips its wonky toe in tones found in books and spaces like Neil Gaiman's Coraline and the film Spirited Away, with a zesty dose of The Hitchhiker's Guide thrown in for good measure. And it is, I hope, at its base and in its bones, a good and meaningful adventure story. It is about saving the day, but it also about learning to accept ourselves for who we are, and finding our family as we go.Complete

In which a boy who thinks he controls everything meets the girl who actually does. --- Peter Pan is king of Neverland, a mystical island of his own creation. His Lost Boys serve as his troops and have been his only company for the last millennium. Until his shadow brought a girl to Neverland, by the name of Wendy Darling. But she's not the one this story's about. Why? It's simple. Because she's dead. She broke Peter's heart, so he killed her. Only he and the Lost Boys know what happened the night Wendy disappeared, and Peter means to take the secret to his grave, assuming he ever dies, of course. If the Lost Boys know what's good for them, they will too. None of the other creatures on the island have any idea of what became of the one girl who had ever set foot on Neverland. However, what at first seems to be a siren with a know-it-all attitude threatens to change all that. She knows exactly why Peter's heart is shattered. But what she wants to do with that information is, for the very first time, is absolutely unclear to Peter. That doesn't sit well with the Ruler of Neverland. And whatever doesn't sit well with Peter, he either figures it out or kills it. Pan let the silence hang in the tent between them, you could have cut the tension with a butter knife. "You think I've enchanted you into falling for me? Mistaken
The smooth life of a 19-year-old boy's life was going just fine until it goes into a different direction as a strange girl that is the same age as him, enters the young boy's life. This strange girl claims that he has been seen committing several crimes by a lot of eyewitnesses, but this person claims to know it was an imposter. An exact look-a-like, and offers a way out of what will undoubtedly be a very tricky situation. Sure of the truth in this situation, but somewhat distrustful of this strange girl, and the young boy hastily agrees to the proposal, it all feels very exciting, as if a big adventure was about to begin. But what if this strange girl is pulling a prank. Or what if this proposal is wrong or missing important details. How could an ordinary young guy like him end up in a situation like this? Time to find out for the better or for the worse himself. If this boy doesn't find out why he could end up in prison for years for something he doesn't ever even remember doing. It also turns out that the prison site isn't any ordinary site.Complete
