Crono, a 17 year old boy from Truce, stumbles acrossed MT.Ebott and falls in. He's the 8th human to fall into the Underground (rather than Frisk).
Along his journey, he meets a small ghost child, Chara, who's forced to follow him through Crono's Determination (NaraChara theory), and together, they meet lots of great monsters.
But then, just as they think all is going well, a new threat emerges. What is this threat? How will they handle it? Find out in their journey through the underground!

You climbed the famous Mt. Ebott to prove to a group of your friends that humans don't disappear when they go up the mountain. While walking around the peak, you trip over a root in the ground and fall forward, expecting to hit the ground. Instead, you were met with open air.
