Originally, there was an organization that had gathered 10 of the greatest fighters in the entire world. To handle situations that required specialty over overwhelming numbers and firepower, those 10 would become heroes and legends to the world in spite of their history.

Years after the events requiring such methods, the 10 became integrated into 101. Gone were the days of heroes to save the world; now it was simply an entertainment medium for people to witness the best of the best in their own fields do battle against each other.

From the bottom of the world, to even the stars. From the refuse no one dares to look, to the greatest stage of the world. This is the arena where one gains fame, fortune; perhaps even a title or ownership. Sometimes, they're entered just to make everyone regret their life decisions.

Regardless, true to their word, this is a tale of people who do combat in their own little way until one submits. The easy way, or the hard way.

This was however at a terrible price. Dragons suffered extinction and the Dragonheart was lost forever. Prophets and seers prophesied the return of the Dragonheart and the final defeat of Armageddon. In time all this came to be known as "The Tragic Legend." As to when the Dragonheart would return, no one knew.
