Meiko Shinohara-Williams, while beginning the journey of her modeling career, had first met Samuel Lee, a person she had aspired to follow in the footsteps of, in a moment of pure humiliation- She had thought that would be their last meeting.

But when opportunity takes her to the Big Apple to begin her career in earnest, fate brings the two together once more. She takes the chance to clear away her humiliation, and to ask for his phone number in a moment of brave spontaneity. And so begins their long-distance friendship!

While work kept them apart, messages and video calls are what brought them closer together, and whenever the two had the chance to meet face to face, the two would take the time to share at least some of their free time in each other's company.
It was as they shared these memories that Meiko starts to look at her role model differently, but she has a blossoming career to focus on.
