"Waiting for you isn't painful, when I know you would return someday. Here, where I would be."

Matthew grew up in England with his Count father and German mother, making him completely different from his relatives. He had no one other than Ina'ara, the girl the Duke had adopted from an Pak-Arabic family.

Both grew up together from crawling to running to College. But the day came when they had to part. Their separation wasn't painful for Matthew, rather the way Ina'ara left so suddenly without hinting prior.

Matthew waits for Ina'ara as he thought it as a sacred promise between the two. His efforts would bear fruit, but nothing is like before.

Matthew needs to prove to his father that he can be a reliable Count like him and that marrying Ina'ara is the only thing he has in mind, to help her regain her status as a royal again.
