without turning to look at Patrick she smiled back at him. melting her zik into two daggers she waited for him to come to her.
she watched as he melted his zik into a sword, raising it above his head he ran like a rapid dog towards her. waiting until he was a few feet from her she slid on the floor beneath him on her knees using the daggers to give him identical cuts behind his ankle. 
he fell to his knees both hands on the sword with head facing downward.
With predatory look in her eyes she stood up with the daggers raised to strike, 

"Naomi?". she heard the unsure voice in her head.

She turned and looked back at the voice, she wasn't scared of anything, but that one voice terrified her.
The one voice she needed approval from, the one person she didn't want to see her as in a bad light, didn't want him to view her as a murderer...
