Gorillaz AU set in a futuristic, post-apocalyptic dystopia. Murdoc goes missing and there doesn't seem to be anyone else around except for the band members, and Murdoc is nowhere to be found. Feeling that the gap needs to be filled, at least for 2D, Noodle creates a cyborg version of Murdoc for him with help from the others. 

Murdoc, 2D, Russel, Noodle and Ace as well as cyborg Murdoc.

After murdoc is arrested 2d ends up becoming the temporary leader of gorillaz. It's quite overwhelming for the singer to take on his many new tasks as the new leader but he's doing his best to make the band proud. While looking for a bassist to temporarly replace murdoc he ends up meeting ace. At first the two are just friends and bandmates but in soon enough time the two become much more then just bandmates. Once he walks out of his room he bumps into Murdoc, and gets a wiff of a really good smell... 2D is astonished that the filthy bass player could smell that good but doesn't think much of it. They have a concert and Murdoc is being his usual filthy self, until they get home. 2D falls asleep next to Murdoc and after a while Murdoc falls asleep too, and in their sleep they start cuddling. Murdoc starts catching feelings for 2D but tries to ignore it, meanwhile Noodle is doing everything she can to get the two together. first chapter was written in my notes app when I was bored, didn't have anything else to do soooo Slight inspiration from Kingamorus's story 'Stalker'
