Angus 'Goosey' Solveig is going to be the next Duke of Eldred. He's become engaged to the most amazing woman he has ever met without even lifting a finger. He has a family who love him. The only downside to Goosey's life is that he could lose it all in an instant. He has something capable of getting him killed.

This is a Tale of Lyndor; a series of unconnected stories set in the same world. This is probably the best one for explaining the world so nothing should be too confusing. Currently, the only completed story in this series is Claw. The main story, The Winter Crown, is still being written very slowly. They can both be found on my profile.

This story of contains major spoilers for The Winter Crown from Chapter Four onwards so watch out if you plan to read TWC as well. The chapters are pretty long (and seem to be getting longer) so I've split them in two for easier reading.

"Everyone loves a good fantasy, but my life was turned upside down by one." What would you do if you had the ability to control the air? How about if you were suddenly brought to a world where, despite your powers, you're at the bottom of the food chain? On a fateful night, Max Walker finds himself summoned to Asterisk and contracted to Liliana Lockwood as her familiar. Forced to leave behind his life on Earth, Max begins a precarious journey into the unknown world of magic. Training as a knight, learning to control mana, battling rogue necromancers and even being mistaken for Duke Walker's son... it's just one thing after the next. But as if that wasn't bad enough, Asterisk, a world which subverts reality as you know it, may just have something to do with Max's own heaven-defying origin... and a secret that could leave the universe hanging by a thread. "You kept all these secrets from me...I trusted you, Ava." he says as he took a step closer. "Was it all a lie...?" "It was better for the both of us..." I said, my voice calm and cold. "You should go before I kill you, like I did to your father." Asher growled. "You used me! You damn dragon!" I let out a cold laugh as I tilted my head to the side. "I'm a Moonlight Dragon, sweetheart, that's what I am and manipulation is what we do best." "I'm not your sweetheart anymore." he snapped. He took a step back. "You will pay for this, Ava, oh you will pay." I smirked "Try me" and took off to the skies...but for some reason...my heart was aching in pain... --------------------------------------------- In the kingdom of Evervale, dragon hunters are almost everywhere. But Ava has a secret...she's a dragon herself, a beautiful but deadly Moonlight Dragon. Ava lives near the forest but near the village at the same time. When the king sends her a letter, threatening her, Ava has no choice but to play along...which means she has to work as the maid and serve the king who threatened her. But if the kingdom knew her secret... Asher is the Prince of Evervale, and he's the kingdom's greatest dragon hunter, and future king. His target and order from the king? Find the mythical Moonlight Dragon. And kill it. When these two meet, things didn't go so well. Until they did. But when the dragon killed the king, his father, Asher is driven by revenge. He vowed to hunt that Moonlight down. Little does he know...the dragon he was looking for...was right in front of him all along... ✨Highest Ranks Ever✨ #637 out of 94.3K in original (11/17/2024) #74 out of 9.88K in newwriter (11/17/2024) #304 out of 38.5K in lies (11/11/2024) #191 out of 24.2K in series (11/11/2024) #37 out of 2.39K in princes (11/11/2024) #669 out of 44.1K in dragons (11/17/2024) #391 out of 24.6K in trauma (11/15/2024) #838 out of 97.6K in hate (11/17/2024) #290 out of 12.5K in hatelove (11/17/2024)

[ magic, romance and madness. ] Everyone knew that a romance between a guardian and their protégé always ended in tragedy - yet they risked it. One day, I read that in real-life fairy tales, the princess sometimes needs to befriend the dragon and kill the prince, perhaps not to the most extreme extent, considering the prince's utility. (*Wink*). Twenty years had passed since the demise of the last living descendant bearing the bloodline of a potent family within the mystical realm. Individuals who possessed magic more formidable than anyone could have fathomed and that very magic could be pilfered if they were to meet an untimely end-a rumour ignited like wildfire. Word began to spread about the sole surviving member of the Lysion family, the last vestige of a lineage renowned for their blessings from the gods (or, as some argue, their curses), once no more than bedtime tales for children. Two decades earlier, a game of hide and seek unfolded that culminated in the death of the final Lysion at the hands of Oldo Blake, a formidable figure in the annals of history. Or so the story goes. An obscure girl. A concealed secret. A relentless pursuit. With a motley crew of bewildering Other Siders on her trail and an absolute dearth of knowledge on how to harness her precious magic, Rosélina Johnson's life transformed from that of an inconspicuous university student to that of a fugitive in the mystic realm, utterly unprepared for what lay ahead.
