After the death of a loved one, Natasha has fallen off the earth. No one has heard from or seen her in weeks. A few concerned friends band together to try to find her, knowing that whatever she's fallen into shouldn't be taken on alone. Yelena and Clint know their friend and sister is just struggling to cope, trying to shut everyone out in order to do so, like they know she does. They also know she can't stay hidden like this forever. The biggest catch? They aren't the only ones after her. Accusations have been brought to the surface which may be difficult for the group to disprove, but it also may be the only way to truly save her. Can they protect their friend when even they can't track her down? Can they find her before the ruthless government fulfills their promise to hunt her down? First, this is a fanfic for Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Steve Rogers/Captain America. Second, this will kind of go through the MCU timeline but not a lot. It will jump around and have some new parts. Third, I don't know everything about the Avengers but I know enough (I think). Fourth, this might have spelling errors and I'm sorry if it does. Fifth, this is meant for a little older audience so just warning this will have foul language, blood, guns, and fighting. This won't have descriptive sex scenes because i don't like writing those.
