This is a first attempt at writing a MLB fanfic!
After watching the movie A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, I was overwhelmed by the parallels in Miraculous Ladybug and Cinderella. Plus, the characters' appearances and personalities were so similar to the show! It was driving me crazy, so I had to write something off of it.
This is based off of Tumblr @ssa-alexandria's theory/story idea of a Cinderella/Miraculous parallel. (Thank you so much for this!)

A Little Bit of Bad Luck
In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon). This story takes place in the world of the cartoon but I have added some elements of the anime and my own spin on things. It's mostly plot and romance with occasional action. Adrien accidentally finds out who LadyBug is and can't stop thinking about Marinette. It was never about LadyBug, he'd always loved Marinette. But he has a lot of competition; Luka, Nathanael, and even his superhero alter ego. After a wonderful evening together, Marinette and Adrien think everything will turn it fine, but Luka has other plans. Lies and misunderstandings
Adrien slowly comes to the conclusion of Marinette being Ladybug, and so a lot of drama occurs, as the new character comes in, only to cause trouble. Will their love be strong enough?
