"I heard screaming all the way from my room so I came to check up on you.. Was it a nightmare about the initiation trials?", she asks with her voice sounding soft and sweet with worry in it.
"Um yeah..", I state hesitantly.
We both stay silent for a while.
"Wanna talk about it?", she asks as her violet eyes pierce my deep blue ones.
After her question, I decide to make room for her on my bed and gesture my hand to the space. She slowly walks toward the bed and tucks herself in beside me. I then slowly pull her closer to me and then she snuggles into my chest as we both drift off to sleep.
Before I doze off I hear her say, "Don't get used to this, dumbass."
