Death is a very busy person. He goes around, allowing people to come to him when it is time for them to die.

When an eleven year old is killed in a car crash, Death comes to collect him. But the kid's phone rang, so Death, for whatever reason, picked up the phone. Only to find a little girl on the other side, crying to her older brother about how her father had hit her again that day.

Death doesn't know what's gotten into him, especially since the girl calls every day. There was always a few minutes a day where no one on earth could die because Death was on the phone with his little angel.

When the little girl grows up, she begins to have feelings for the person on the other end of the phone line, who calls himself Dean.

Little does she know, he's been in love with her for years. And doesn't plan on stopping in the next eternity.
