Can they save the girl while running from a group of masked enemies? Can Nixie stop the darkness spreading throughout her parents' home land?

Along with this new power, the dragon comes with a prophetic warning that Jak's presence on Kaolin is a greater threat to the balance of nature than the murderous king and he must leave before it is too late. Once Jak uncovers a way back to Earth, he also discovers the old couple that saved him is being held within the dungeons of the capital. He is forced to choose between saving them and preventing the dragon's catastrophic prophecy.

In doing so, he may not only endanger himself, he may risk the lives of all hybrids out there.

Ever since she was three, thoughts flittered into her brain, revealing everything about everyone. Nix is the only way her pack can communicate when in wolf form. She's tired of it. So when an elder tells her of the Great Wolf, who might be able to help her, she is eager to find him. Some very power-hungry people figure out about Nix's family's genetic gift, but, more specifically, about Nix's personal gift, too. While on the run to find the Great Wolf, Nixie has to deal with humans, friends, enemies, allies, and unexpected love, too.
