I really like the way Stuart Gibbs writes, and I fully admit I am trying hard to copy his style. I don't know if I was successful or not. Hopefully, some of you will enjoy this short half-novel. I know it probably starts a little slow, but it does pick up. At least, I am having fun writing it. Takes place after Spy School Goes to Sea. It contains spoilers from all the novels. 3 years after Ben's first mission, he disappeared. He didn't leave a letter or a note, just ran away, not to be seen again. His friend looked everywhere for him, but with no results. So what will happen, when Erica, the super talented spy, who took his disappearance the hardest, runs into him by accident, 6 years later? This story will mostly consist of Ben's and Erica's relationship. So, if action is something you are looking for in a story, this will not have much of it. The story will maybe consist of some mature language and topics, but nothing is going to be too explicit. (Because they are young adults, I thought that it would go together, to make the story a little more realistic.) Ben Ripley is looking forward for the semester to end, seeing as how he only has two midterms left to take. But he gets a text and it's about something he's never heard of before, a new organization plotting. This is basically a fast forward in the universe and start's during Ben's fourth year. Imagine if nothing else happened after Spy School Revolution. And Imagine that Ben is more competent and has essentially basic military training at this point.

When Erica suddenly goes missing and there are no traces of SPYDER at all, Ben starts to suspect the people he's supposed to be protecting. Do they really need protection? Spy School: Prom?
Benjamin Ripley was learning fast. He is the second best spy in training in the entire school, just ahead of Joshua Hallal, and behind the most amazing spy and girl he's ever met, Erica Hale. He quickly falls in love with her, but isn't quite sure how she feels about him. Ben is hurt when all his friends have prom dates but him, even Erica. He's even more heartbroken when Erica is going with Joshua, who is a complete jerk, especially to Ben and his friends. Ben suspects she shouldn't trust Joshua, and she pushes him away saying he's a bad friend. Just when he's as hurt as he thinks he can take and wanting to end it all, Erica comes in crying. Joshua cheated on her like Ben predicted. Ben wants to kill Joshua for hurting her so bad. Will there be a big fight? Erica apologizes but will their friendship heal, or maybe even grow to be more than just a friendship? I do not own these characters, Stuart Gibbs does, though the plot is mine.Complete
