Nothing Unnatural ever happens to Jasmine Rein. In her eyes, Her life couldn't get any better. She met the love of her life , Mario Taylor in the 8th grade. She even graduated and moved in with him. When he proposes to her and even puts her father, best friend, and his parents in on it, Jasmine believes that nothing could possibly go wrong... Well she was very wrong. Soon Jasmine finds out that she's pregnant with Mario's child and they can't be happier. Sadly while they were on their way to inform everyone on the good news, A drunk driver crashed into them instantly killing Mario. Miraculously, Jasmine only leaves with a concussion and a broken arm. She woke up in the hospital to find out that her baby would be fine but her Fiance didn't survive. 
Oh but don't worry, Mario returns as a ghost and haunts Jasmine trying to convince her to leave the world she is in to be with him.
