What if it was Isabelle that Clary met first? What if it was Isabelle that found Clary after she killed the Ravenor demon? What if it was Isabelle that Clary woke up to, not Jace? One change to a story, and it creates a ripple effect, altering each event just enough to build up, until the entire ending is different.

This is basically an AU where Isabelle is the one on duty when Clary is attacked by the demon, and this story is essentially about the domino effect that takes place just because of that small difference, - how they spend more time together because it's Izzy she wakes up to, not Jace, how they become friends from working missions together, how Jace starts talking to someone else, and the impact that has on the story.
