Three words: The Hunger Games. Katherine has awful nightmares about them every single year the night before the Reaping. What has the world come to if all these people in the capitol, her neighbors, her friends, even her own parents, think it's okay to have children fight to death in an arena? How do people live with themselves, going to parties and celebrations while there are children dying in an arena because of politics? Will she rebel against the government in an attempt to stop these evil games? Or will she just keep her thoughts to herself, protect herself while others are suffering?
