It was all over for Hinata Hyuga the moment she saw Naruto propose to Sakura in front of the Ichiraku ramen stall.
She should have stayed in bed like her instinct had told her, then she wouldn't have witnessed the love of her life proposing to the girl who called Hinata her best friend.
Hinata wanted to break down and start crying right there and then, but held her composure and congratulated the couple.
She should have seen this coming. Naruto had started dating Sakura towards the end of the 4th great ninja war after Sakura had confessed to Naruto that she had feelings for him.
She was so stupid for believing there could be anything between her and Naruto.
Hinata ran to the Hokage's office as fast as she could. She needed to get out of here so she asked for some time away from Konoha.
And so began lily's journey alongside raven.
